Camp Counselor - Steve Humphrey has performed in shows throughout the Tri-Cities including the KTG stage. He was most recently seen in the role of Frederick Fellows in the production of Noises Off. He is also the director of the Andrew Johnson Elementary School Drama Club where he recently produced The Seven Nasty Princesses by Edith Weiss and is currently producing their May show: Schoolhouse Rock, Jr. Live.
Join us as we spend a week learning stage directions, playing theater camps, acting out improvisational scenes and producing a full one act play entitled MOTHER GOOSED. Here is the synopsis of the show: Something unprecedented is happening in Fairytale Land— all the nursery rhyme characters are revolting against their own stories. Humpty Dumpty refuses to fall off the wall, Little Miss Muffet strikes back at the spider, and Peter Piper finally loses his peppers. Fortunately, the local news crew is live on the scene— but Frank the anchor has jumped ship, and Mother Goose is keeping suspiciously silent...

Program Details

Dates: august 5 - november 18 (November 11 is not included as a holiday)
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 5:00–6:45 PM
Performances: november 19 (7 pm), november 20 (7 pm), november 21 (2 and 7 pm)
Tuition: $100 per student
Includes: Two complimentary performance tickets
Additional Tickets: $7 each

Parents/guardians will be required to sit for a short presentation on August 5. ​​​
